No extended warranty. Up to this point I have never had a vehicle longer than 1 yr. I was hoping to keep this 1 longer but if this continues then I will be looking for a way out. But I am being optimistic that this will be the last of issue.

Ok, here it is. The problem with the truck is that the high pressure pump is failing. The truck is still in the shop and will be until the part comes in. They say this is on back order and they hope to see the part in 3 - 5 days. So hopefully this will be fixed early next week.

I am a little ****** about the fact that I was out of the vehicle for 2 days then they tell me it will be a week before I get it back but they will only put me in a loaner car for 2 days (today and tomorrow) if the part does not come early they will let me drive my truck unitl the part comes in. . I toild them thats fine as long as they know they are responsible for it if more things go wrong.

The pump in the truck I mentioned in my previous post only had about 7500 miles on it.

keep us posted. mines doing the same. it comes and goes. fuel and air filter change. I was a bit ashamed at how dirty they were w/o me checking. it only had 10,000miles on it and they were the dirtiest id ever seen.

I got my truck back last night and it runs like a champ Oo. . Instant throttle response and all. They replaced the high pressure pump only. They ended up paying for the rental car for the full 8 days and best of all I got a brand new Tahoe (7 miles on it:D ) to drive. Better than a Kia or something like that. But all in all Broadway Dodge in Littleton, Co. help me out w/o any issues. :)

I live just a little north of you and would be very interested to find out the name of the dealer that told you this was "normal. "
