Hi all,

When I bought my 01 ram, there was an EZ Edge in the cab, unhooked. I was told that it didnt work, and I never tried it.

I sent it to Edge, they said it was too old to be serviced, which is odd, because they still sold the unit new.

Anybody want one of these?

Also, are anti-defuelers availabe for this beast?

The only one I can find costs $300, and I seem to remember a cheaper model when I was looking last year.

Anyhow, thanks in advance for any input.

Ben

You can take a look at my Signature below. What do you want to do with the truck, mod it or leave it stock. Did you get the EZ back and was it broke or ok??

Mild mods... already have 5" exhaust and a K&N, I want to install an antidefueler now and fumigation later this summer.

I dont know if the edge works, Edge sent it back to me untouched, they wouldnt even test it. That really suprised me, as I heard good things about them and their products, and they just blew me off. It's odd that a company with such a good reputation would refuse to service a product that they still sell.

Interesting... . Edge has always been known for their great service... I have a Comp box that has a mind of it's own, and called Edge last week. . they gave me an OK to send it back to them... . I'll do it next week when the truck goes into the shop... I hope they don't give me the same runaround...

Well you could plug it in and see. I would ditch the K&N as they will let dirt get through. Engines are way too expensive to allow dirt through the filter.

I am happy with my Comp and with the Smarty also, I get more fuel than I can sainly use. ;) all the way from start to 131 mph. :D
