broken mirror

Anyone know if there is a way to fix a mirror that got pushed back the wrong way. My towing mirror got folded the wrong way and now it will not lock back into place. Everything else still works fine and the mirror (glass) isnt broken.



Id like to fix the one i have and im sure a new one isnt cheep. if anyone has taken one appart or has some advise on how i might try to fix this problem it would be helpful

yup mine just got pushed the wrong way too. nothing worked, so for now im just gonna deal with it until i can find a cheap one on ebay. the cheapest i could find was just under $175 power heated towing... which is alot cheaper than the dealer which i believe is closer to 350. my mirror wont snap in anymore, but i havent had a problem with it moving at all even on the highway.
