I have a 2005 2500 4X4 with a KORE Pace system with factory rims and 35" Toyo MTs. I am not sure if maybe I didn't tighten the bolt to the right specs BUT... . the other day my lower track bar bolt disappeared. Highway driving only since the lift has been on. I am not sure if it broke or just fell out. Luckily I was able to remove the stabilzer and use the bolt from that to reconnect the track bar and get home. I do not recomend driving to much without the stabilizer since death wobble can occur... and its a little scary.

My question is... . Is this common? Anyone know the recommended torque fof the track bar bolts?

PS I am new to the forum and tried a search on this... if this has already been covered my apologies.

I've had them loosen up on a previous ram, and once on the current one (loosened badly, only stayed in the hole because the steering stabalizer kept it from falling out, and it was tight prior to leaving). After that experience I always locktite the trackbar bolts and torque them down with the impact to make sure it stays put.

I have the Kore Chase suspension. I just tightened my upper track bar bolt. Mine was loose and I could feel a 'clunk' while turning. I put blue lock-tite on it and torqued it to 150 ft-lbs. I got the torque value from the service manual.

Hey jason#9, it probably fell out. I don't have the KORE sys but that was the only bolt that I didn't touch and it fell out! I found the bolt but no nut, but it turns out that the nuts off of the old rear U-bolts are the same size if you need another one.
