Has anyone tried mounting a Generation II Brolin CB mount in a Generation III truck?

Has anyone come up with something similar for the Generation III?

Ok seeing as I have never seen one at all where can I see a picture of the 2nd generation atleast to get an idea of what you are all talking about

:-laf :-laf :-laf I made something that looks about exactly like that for my 97, doesn't have the leg to the floor is all. Here I was hoping to see something new and exciting. I don't think it will work well with my 2003 because of the big consule thing around the 6 speed

COST

What's the Cost of the 03 and a 99 Mount? Where do we send for them? e-Mail add is -- email address removed -- tks Bill

I just want to make sure the cup holder is still useable. I have my Brolin mount that I pulled out of my 01 but it would require some serious mods to work. I'm waiting on the new one to come out. Any estimate of when?

I have designed a 3rd Gen mount. The auto with cupholders that fold out of the dash, you will not loose the cupholders. The 6-speed and any truck that has the cupholders mounted on the floor, you will loose the cupholder closest to the driver. DC didn't leave us allot of room for a CB/Ham radio.

Here are a couple of pictures:

This mount allows access to the center seat storage.

The pictures shows the mount in my truck. It is what I call a "Wide Mount" (11" wide). This mount will accommodate a radio and amplifier or satellite radio, or mobile phone, etc. This mount only works in the Auto 2x4 or Auto 4x4's with the electronic shift transfer case.

My other mount is a "Narrow Mount" (7" wide). The radio on this mount will mount the same place as in the pictures. This mount is for the 6-speeds and all 4x4's with the floor mounted transfer case shifter.

Hope this helps. If interested, pm or email me. They are in stock and ready to ship.
