Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Brother Dynoed truck last night, and very interesting results!

Hello to all!



Last night, my brother had the chance to dyno his truck. His truck is bone stock as far as he knows. He dynoed at 214 RW HP, and 511 LB FT of Torque. I sort of thaught that he dynoed a bit high on the TQ. He was very pleased overall!

YUP - HP looks on the money - great Tq tho' - do you know what gear he was dyno'd in?

No, I do not know which gear he was using. I sort of thaught the TQ sounded a bit on the high side for the truck being bone stock. But, maybe I am wrong!

I thought that on the dyno, direct drive was necessary

Direct Drive usually doesn't put enough load on the truck to get it to spool on a DynoJet type dyno. I had to run mine in OD and I got 60 hp more than when I tried in direct drive.

Mine TOTALLY STOCK was dynoed at 244. 1 though the rear wheels they can very about 40 HP + or -.
