Not a miss print,was'nt waiting for grass to grow up around the wheels,720 K in 3-1/2 yrs-------waiting for others to catch up now--should also add they are all My miles except for maybe 2k (wife & friend)while i eyes were shut for sleep a couple trips/short time to get there. . Wife can drive again!!! Friend --NOT-- (has no respect for clutch opertion) Thought he was on the ready line & light changed!!!!!!!!!!!

EZ,DD2's and a turnbuckle with get it to discolor fast. PDR HX-35 seems to be holding up much better.

My next turbo is going to be jet hot coated to prevent this. . same with the ATS manifold... ...

Whats that gonna cost and where would you have it done up here?

I don't know the cost but I know that you can get several of the vendors to send the parts off when they are building your trubo or when you buy the new manifold. I am sure there is soneone in Ancorage that does it... . I will have to look around...

Mine is discolored also happened after pulling the 10,000 lb trailer to Oregon last Thanksgiving. Seems to be a common occurence if the turbo is used heavily for an extended period

Mine is a Y2K,and it isnt discolored yet,and ive had it hot,and boost above 35,wonder why not all do it?
