So Cal Event!!!- DECEMBER 13 BBQ-RALLY

Thanks for the pictures Bill, and for your efforts to get this all going. I had a Lodge Officers Installation last weekend, so just couldn't make it.

Next time though... ...

Had a Fun Weekend!!!

Want to thank Blaine first off for letting us hook up out TT and stay the weekend (He didn't want anything for it either!). What a great bunch of people. What a cool place to have something like this. I mean how many places will let you work on your rig (Inside the shop out of the RAIN!), let you drive the mods, and even drag race and play in the mud? I was incredulous.

Even though I did not dyno or bomb, I enjoyed seeing many of you again and meeting others for the first time. My wife and daughter enjoyed getting out of the house and even witnessing some of the more insane getting on the rollers. We will be back whenever we can if for nothing else but to just chew the fat face to face.

If you have never done this before, you have to try it. I mean look at 1 locomotive's post. I was there and got to see his face! Believe me, Jake made his day. And, Blaine is just good people. The whole time that I was there he never tried to push anyone to buy anything and I saw alot of happy faces, with quite a few more horses, leaving that shop!

For those of you that didn't make it, see yoiu next time!

Went to Browns Valley dyno day and had a good time! Ment alot of nice people and even had my stock truck dynoed just for the he** of it.

I do have a question though. The dyno report only showed the uncorrected torque, which is waaaaaay high. How do I adjust the reading to get the corrected torque? torque somthing tire size somthing diff gears=?

Any help out there?

Thanks,

Steve :D

Jake can answer that one or if I get a chance I will go down and ask Blane tomorrow if he hasn't left yet. he'll be gone for a week.

Made it home

I had a great time, met lots of new folks, learned lots of new things, did some work on my truck, and made some work for myself. Truck took a little damage from a rock in the mud.

Thanks for putting the event on, I'll definitly be back when my schedule permits.

It took me three days of driving to get to Prince Rupert B. C. where I catch the ferry home. That's with a 18 hour layover in Bellingham for a shower and sleep in a bed instead of the truck. With a little better planning on my stops I should be able to make the drive in under two and a half days.

Dynoed 388 H. P. and a little over 1000 torque. I'm also looking for the torque correction formula.

Glad to see you made it home alright. you get our long distance travel award;) Even if we're not having a dyno day if you're in the area again stop on by. There's always something going on at the shop and a fridge full of cold ones
