Anybody near Akron??

Move to tropical MN... it's a BALMY 6 above right now.

Last weekend while in northern MN, I wasn't able to plug the old girl in and it was fun listening to 3 cylinders shut down with the fast idle on. Oo.

That's not bad considering where you are. It was colder here this morning when I went to work, and I'm on the Jersey shore.

Bring it on down here to the DEEP SOUTH in Arkansas. It was 6 degrees both Friday and Saturday morning!!

It did get up to 30 this afternoon though. Whew!

Temp on my rear deck at 3:20 pm AK time is 32 degrees. Looks like some of you lower 48 guys will have to come to Anchorage just to thaw out. I know ... my bitter cold is probably just around the corner. Keep warm and remember the temp range for your #2 diesel.

JR2... ... ..... thanks for the laughOo. I'm here in 14 degree weather thinking... ... ..... my fingers are about to fall off, so I click on your link... ... ..... no temperature was 0 degrees or above:--) Whew, glad I'm not there. You must have an Espar or something cause I know my truck is hating the temps here in New England.

Its was so cold this morning,

that I saw a lawyer walking down the street with his hands in his OWN pockets.

Its a ball. me 8 degrees here now, but thats ok cause they said it feels like -9:{

And the weather channel's golf index for tomorrow is very poor. Imagine that.

It's about 6 here right now. Must have been near 0 last night.

It's real windy now too. 20 MPH gusting to almost 30.

Wind chill has to be below 0, probibally -10~ish.

Missed some great golfing

Man it was nice here yesterday, sunny and just under 60F. If only I could have gotten off work to hit the golf course for at least 9 holes but it bites when the sun goes down by 5pm :(

On the news this AM it said it was 26F in Plant City Florida, which was 12F colder than the 38F on my thermometer this morning here in Pasco WA :)

It has been pretty close to average here this winter but there hasn't been very many nights for awhile that have been much under 30 degrees.

if you guys think it's cold, large areas of Russia was seeing highs in the -50F range   Check here and look at some of the history (you can click back few days). Yes those large patches of purple are HIGH temps. . .

Cold in Virginia

9 degrees this morning- wind chill was below zero yesterday. Snow and ice all over. You do not see that very often in Southeast Virginia but that is what we have block heaters for. Truck starts like it is summer.
