The responses are great guys thanks.
I looked at the DOR bumpers too and I like the fact that they are aluminum. But since I will never have a winch on this truck, I really like how the buckstop non-winches suck in close to the bumper. I think they are the least proturding heavy duty bumper, I could be wrong though. The fact that the bumper doesn't stick out so much helps smooth it over with the gf, since she thinks a big non-chrome bumper is going to look horrible on my truck. I think she will like it once I get it though, we will see.
The lonestar bumper is nice too but just not quite the look I want, thanks for the suggestion though.
I think I'm going to get on of the buckstop non-winch with the grille guard, I believe it is the baja one.
The only other questions I have, unless some has a picture of this bumper I would like to see it, is how bad is the chipping of the powder coat?? I was under the impression that powder coating are not supposed to chip if done right? Should I order it raw and have it powder coated here, would that help? I believe they take 125 off if you order it raw, I doubt that would cover powdercoating it separately??? Or is it some thing that will look good for 5 years or so and then I could have it recoated? Would you guys suggest the receiver hitch or not, do you use yours a lot??
Lastly I like the idea of chroming the baja bar down the road. How much would something that size cost to chrome any ideas??
Sorry for such a long post, I'm just trying to get the right bumper the first time since they are 1500 bucks.
Thanks for all the response they are much appreciated, and keep them coming.
