Buckstop looks THAT bad???

I just happen to be scrolling thru my readers rig section and noticed that the pics rating with the stock bumper was around 6. 0, the pics with the buckstop is around 3. 5..... I know not as many people voted for the buckstop as it has not been on that long but consensus seems to be it's ugly . It's ok I am a big boy I can take it... is it that bad?

Looks like a pretty solid unit I don't think it looks to bad. I am sure that it would grow on ya maybe everyone is jealous.

The truck looks great! Perhaps it's the fuzziness of the picture that's keeping it from getting the high marks. How about trying a high resolution version of the new (and improved) look!

I know the feelin'. My truck was the featured rig yesterday and it must be that my Buckstop looks sooo bad, that they used an older picture with the OEM bumper.

Myself I am not a fan of the huge bumpers like that,but,its your truck and why worry what others think. It does look ok painted to match and I hate to run into it.



There are those of us early second generation Sport owners that would kill to get their hands on a Sport Bumper assembly like you took off your truck . BTW,what did you do with it and are you interested in selling it????..... andy

Hey Hammer, $200 and you can have mine. Just has a extra hole above the passenger fog light where a mailbox thought that it could spend a night. LOL Seriously though, after seeing what a mailbox can do at about 2 MPH, I am not sure that I would give up the ole style bumper. Yeah they look nice but... .....

I gave it to Kurt Yardley as part trade on my SBC clutch . Seems he ran into a little trouble with the front AND rear stocker's on his truck
