I used the 2" spring spacers in the front to achieve an almost leve look(a 3" spacer would have actually put it perfectly level I think). Anyway, I thought that would be enough but now I think i'd like a little more lift, maybe another 2" all the way around for a total of 4" in the front and 2" in the rear(so it still sits pretty level). Is there any way to achieve this without a $900 lift kit? I know the front stock shocks will have to be replaced, but is there a front spring I could run with the 2" spring spacers that would give me another 2" over what I've got now? I'm sure I could just run a 2" taller block in the rear, right?

Also I noticed when I installed the 2" spacers up front that the lower control arm was almost fully extended downward just to get the spacers in, so I'm sorta worried about needing aftermarket lower control arms to go any higher than the 2" I've already got? Any worry there?

I doubt it... I've been looking into the same thing. I could barely get my springs back in when I installed my leveling kit and had to use a hydraulic ram to separate the axle far enough from the frame. I just emailed Matt from rampage fabrications on info on longer control arms that are also a lot beefier than the stock units. Haven't heard back from him yet though. :( In the back all you'll need is an add-a-leaf kit to level it. In the Skyjacker 4. 5" kit (not the system) that is all they use to level the truck back out. And that kit is about $1100!!! I'd rather get all the pieces I need from other vendors, such as shocks (like the bilstien 5100's) and put together a lift kit that will probably be less money and be comprised of better parts.

If you don't use longer control arms your front tires will set alittle farther back close to the wheel well. And will allow the tires to rub if using larger tires. The longer arms will center your front wheels to where they need to be.
