Go to properautocare.com and you'll have to do some looking around because I don't remember exactly, but in the exterior care section there is a bug removal type sponge block it's yellow and is safe for clearcoats etc, not much money, good company, and it works really well. PM me if you can't find it.

Bugs like these.

When I pulled my 5er down the Alcan in 2003, I had to stop in Dawson Creek and put a cleaning on the whole rig!!! It looked about as bad as yours does in the pic. I then had it all acid washed when I got to AZ.

Do you use the Bounce sheets right out of the box? Or do you use ones that have already gone through the dryer with a load of clothes?

Thx.

I use the ones right out of the box. I buy the two-box set at Costco, which has 200 sheets in each box. I have never tried the ones out of the dryer..... now you have me thinking... ... .

A lot of RV'ers use windex. I find it works pretty well, gallon is cheap, and the ammonia dissolves the little buggers. If they are thick, use a nylon mesh kitchen sponge, does not scratch. .

It took a few washings, but I finally got it back to normal. By the way, no broken glass and only minor chips on our 11,000 mile trip.
