WINspeed Heater Grid Delete Test Complete!

If there is enough intrest we are always willing to consider developement, it has to be cost effective for both us as a manufactuer and you as a consummer. Keep feeding this and I will keep bringing it up to engineering.

There are at least 30 people I personally know (myself included) that would sell one of their slightly used kidneys on the black market for a real engine brake on a B-series Cummins.

Make sure the basic parts can adapt to both 12/24-valves. Heck, if it only works on a 24-valve head, I'll convert my 12-valve. Yes, I want something like this THAT bad.

What kind of numbers in terms of production do you need?

Here's an idea... I bet I could raise enough money to help get this thing off the ground - people that donate would be in a database and would receive a rebate once the real product comes to market. I'd imagine that a lot of folks (myself included) would even put up the whole projected retail cost for such a thing to get in on it at the ground level.

If needed, I'd be willing to be the cheerleader and point person for this effort. I could even put up a website where people can sign a petition to get someone (hopefully Pacbrake) to produce it. Send me a PM if you need someone from the consumer side to be a liaison, etc.

Best regards,

Matthew R. Amero

How about a Overhead Cam for A Killer B? What would the Powerstorker Know It Alls say about that? Come Cummins, we know you know how!!! Moose

I would DEFINATLY buy one. Heck, I'll remortgage the house, sell my toys, maybe some organs to buy one. Then I'll put on a 10 inch body lift and use the "BIG TOOL" to massage my cowl to make it fit.

... . well, maybe not that extreme, but, I know my wife will NOT be happy! :D

I already voiced opinion on the other thread. I'd definately buy one . . maybe two. . It would be awesome... as for braking power. . some engines have more braking power then the hp... . on a 2 stroke detoit the jake is pretty weak . . kinda like the weak dynatards on older macks. . slightly stronger then a exhaust brake but the sound is cool ha. .

I wonder how our trucks would sound with one:)

I have wondered the same thing. Would be nice to have that familair sound, the guys with stacks should be in on this.

I wonder if it would actually do much. (as far a braking is concerned)

Not all engines with compression brakes have alot of retarding HP. I had a 3406b cat and you could drag your feet and do as much stopping as the engine brake did on that thing. Now on the newer versions of that same engine they have up to 600 retarding hp. Higher compression ratios (18:1) and higher boost pressures during braking have drastically improved the performance.

I know they would be expensive but if they actually worked they would sell but if they were just an expensive noise maker I doubt the demand would be high enough to justify the novelty.

That's why you ordered a B model with a retarder and a Jake!!LOL

I would think that with all the modern circutry ie: rubicon lockers only work in 4 lo and below certian mph... . that they would be able to make it safe for the less knowledgeable. Just my two cents.

If you ground the green wire w/yellow stripe, behind the radio on your Rubicon, you can lock diffs in all positions, 2W, 4H, 4L:D Jess
