Build Sheet Available

I'd read it on here some time ago that you can go to any dealer and at the service department if you provide them your VIN # they can print you out a copy of the build sheet for your vehicle.



I finally did this on Friday when picking up some other parts (ATF +4 at $19. 99 a gallon, couldn't find +4 anywhere else and the search engine on here is disabled -> &%#%$#@%) and they

printed it up for me. Lots of info on there, most importantly all options that your vehicle came with, including all amenities and trans, rear, engine, etc. Good stuff.



Thought I'd pass the word for anyone that didn't know that this was available at the dealer. Haven't seen it on here in awhile.

GOT ONE FOR MINE

I too read that earlier post,and had the stealer print one up. The interesting thing about it was that the build sheet said tinted glass,but the only tinted glass i have is the windows in the rear doors... . Is this another one of DC's recent jokes on the consumer?

"The Saint" was kind enough to get me one for my truck from his reputably dealer. However, I've never received a fax from a police department before and it sure had some co-workers wondering.

I saw the same thing about the tinted glass and it got me wondering. However, the one that really confuses me is the 'remote keyless entry' that I'm supposed to have, didn't get the remotes from the dealer when I bought it used with 9k miles so I wonder if it's an installed option and if I can get the remote devices for it?

That would be a concern if the truck wasn't purchased at an auction in Cleveland, Ohio and I live in New Jersey. Also, if someone stole it I'd just go out and buy another one with the insurance money!



Only bummer would be having to put all the goodies back on the new truck!

Tint

I think the tinted windows refers to the dark tint on the back doors and back window as well as the slight green tint on the front doors.

REAR WINDOW

Hi Dave, I think i should have another talk with my stealer,as my rear window isn't tinted. :{

Mine are, you got hosed! I thought maybe my driver and passenger windows should have been as well, although that's illegal in NJ. However, your rear and back quad doors should all have tinted windows!

Wheelwell liners,rear cup holder,oh my god passenger handle,tinted windshield... ... ..... :{ I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! I still love the truck... .

Bert, you only get a dark rear window with the slider. I was confused on that when I ordered - then I changed my order to get the slider. Without the slider, it's clear - but it may have a green tint - thus the tinted language. Dark may be listed as privacy glass?
