Call Jeff Prince (Prince Performance in Corpus) I see his truck around town occasionaly. He runs a 12v dually - street legal - in Baytown I got him on video running a 10. 3 @ 128mph. Truly an awesome truck.

My race truck project will not start until I can get my wife an '08 challenger. I will be working with a local performance shop when the projects starts.

He used to make his own injectors right?

I think I will get more for my 10k. I have a good machine shop to use, so it wont be that expensive. I have some really good engine builders to help me also. Just this will be the first one running on diesel. ;) Machine work is no problem... ... knowing the tricks of a diesel is. :D

As far as building a back halved truck, Joe Hellmann has a race truck down here in Richmond that fits your description, you can probably contact him or go to his website Hellmannperformance.com for usefull info.

Good luck with your build and keep us up to date!! I have a regular cab 1993 shortbed CTD that is just itching to get my 1997 12 valve put in it. I will talk Jim Fulmer into doing it one day. Keep us posted!!!!

well i think its very possible to have a steertable 1000 hp 12v in fact the current truck i own is a work in progress to the very goal. thing about the 12v that everyone seems to forget is there is a flip of a switch tunning method that can go from 1000 ponies to less then stock. and ats has it for about 120 bucks. its called a valet switch and i have know first hand how well it works. you'll still have some smoke and all and the throtle will still be touchy but tuned right its possible to have it literally flip of the switch. as far as what you'll need to get there you sound like your going in the right direction. BIG turbos BIG injectors and a BIG fuel pump.

on your 4 links thats a very good idea. i just got done recently w/ mine do a search for pics of my 4links and you should find it. any ?s you have about them id be more then willing to help awenser.

good luck on your build up cant wait to hear about it when its done.
