Competition Nor*Cal Diesel Rally '08

I am looking for some suggestions on my BBD II tilt body. We are building from scratch and its going to be a late model 2006 body, doing it from scratch I have lots a options before painting. One of the major ones I have been dealing with is wether to make it look like a street truck i. e tail lights, head lights, tail gate handle, keeping them in tack of course the tires, lexan, and hood stack would gove it away :D Or do I shave the tailgate handle fill in the tail and head light openings weld the tailgate panel to the bed etc.....

Thoughts?

I would make it look as stock as possible without it taking away from the performance. Make it look like something us normal guys could relate to:-laf

I agree, make it look as stock a possible, there are some people out there that wish a hood stack was legal :D

I have been leaning that way, was looking at the halo tinted LED lights on ebay and LED tailights so basically anything you could put on stock body I guess would be cool.

Thanks guy's

Scott i would sure like to see a Mineral Grey stock appearing pro mod puller!

Not that i like that color or anything, or have a QCLB in that color!:D:D:-laf:-laf

Go with the stock look!!

I'd keep it stock looking as well. Just because it's the BBDII, I'd run the same paint as you had before too. (I really liked the paint job on your last rig)

Yeah, Scott! Bring the franchise back! FluiDamper is still running that ad. Gee, I wonder why?

Bring back the flames an' the hood stack an' the grill... ... ... :-laf

Another vote for stock appearance here. I really like the hood you chose, very cool! I also would go with the same paint design as BBD1... . looked awesome.

Here is a picture of the Pre-runner front fenders, they will cover 4" more of the front tires, and have 2" of additional rise.
