Building truck

I am just curious about how long it takes a truck from start to finish to be built..... Not from when it was ordered but from when they start the actual process of building the truck until the last emblem is put on it... Does anyone have any ideal??

I think I read somewhere that it's a couple of days, including paint. . Don't have anything to back that up though. I don't think it's any longer than that.

D/C told me it only takes 24-30 hours, from when the frame hits the line til it's out the door:--)

On my truck ( a 2002 ) the frame has a build start date of 11/28/01 and the actual build date of the truck is 12/05/01.

I don't know what all happens from the time the frame is picked to when the last part is put on but those are the dates on my truck.
