Professionalism . to the people that have seen any one of the teams I am associated with in action you would understand

Professionalism is not proven just on the track sir. Your professionalism will be judged more so by the interaction between you and other people or teams that you are NOT involved with.

The facts are no one has yet , close , but not yet. And before some one brings up weight , weight reduction is a part of any unlimited performance category. The ability to get lite is not a secret. So If your ride is over weight , do something about it. Edge and Scheids both started with a clean sheet of paper. Both could have started with some really neat rides for the money spent , but please 2800 lbs for a dragster ,and 3900 lbs for a Bickel Truck. Scott and Dustin’s car is 2200 lbs and has a lot of room for weight reduction.

For a guy talking about facts, you sure have a lot of fiction in your statements.

Yep. We are 2280 with Dustin in the car, full of fluids. Anyone else want to step on a scale?

Now this thing is gettin serious!!! :-laf

Scott. You make one more statement about me like that and I will just have to come out to Colorado and do something about it. Mama said I wasn't the best looking, but she never said I was ugly. :{ Man, talk about a busted bubble, and you, of all people. ;) And I thought you were a gentleman. How far is it to Colorado anyway?

Yes, I am more than capable of fighting my battles. I just pick them wisely. And quietly. And fight them direct.

oh yea, no excuses.

It was my fist time in the car , and I got a little greedy. My lights for the weekend in qualifying were on the way to getting my driving where I needed it to be . .

I'm sure McBride would help you learn how to cut a good light. He did real well last weekend, racing.

I heard that too Gene... Cut a . 003 light, and actually was able to get it spooled and staged before the 8 second staging foul. Imagine that. :p

Everyone is talking about the power, I think it needs better brakes with the double break-out. :-laf

I guess that means Preston is the evil twin. :p :D

I don't know about the 'evil', but he sure is ... wait, that's not a nice thing to say. I'll just say his mother loves him. Anyway. :D :D

According to Comp, the Scheid dragster is 600 pounds heavier than Scott's. So, how long is Scott's dragster and how long is the Scheid ride? Scott, can you divulge that info? In person the Scheid dragster appears to be longer but, maybe my eyes were deceiving me..... ole age ya know

May be true but 600 pounds of pipe is alot- it aint THAT MUCH longer... ... .

Bentz: 240"; young, hale driver; narrow chassis

Scheid: 300"; bigger tires; 150# brass pressure-relief valve; front-end ballast; older, paunchier driver; wider chassis

It all adds up... .
