Bill's truck has gone 10. 13 @ 137mph on diesel only, with DOT tires.

Yes, it's insured for the road and has yet to go on a big diet. It can haul the grocery's and my heavy butt at the same time with ease.

However, as far as I'm concerned there are no Diesel records set unless they are at a legitimate Diesel event. May Madness, SDX, IRP, DHRA, NHRDA etc, and BACKED UP.

I'm like Scott and Dustin, am always willing to line up on the other side of the tree, even when I know the performance of the other guy might be seemingly unbeatable, because in drag racing until the win light is shining in your lane its not over. I could not imagine spending all this time and money to not take a chance at a good race, that would have been promotion of diesel motor sports, but to turn tail and run from a race because you might get beat is , well, I will leave that to others imagination .



My focus in this thread was the past berating, and the “were the best, and no one is even close attitude” that has come form the driver of that rail in question. The out right attempt to censure any thing in the diesel world, which did not promote his BUSINESS venture that, was not self serving to him.



I called out the last NO GO SHOW BOAT and now here is another? You can say they are just getting started, but that dog don’t hunt, when you have the so called premier diesel pulling engine shop putting the best they have at this venture. And one of the best chassis shop building a chassis, I have bought two Spitzer cars, and its not there fault. They built what was asked of them, a very very heavy, car to hold all that unrealistic optimistic torque and power. Come on guys 2800 lbs , There are several people in live you have to be brutally honest with , you Doctor , you Preacher , you torque converter builder , your cam grinder , and last but most importantly you chassis builder.



Or maybe there is a difference pulling engines from diesel drag racing engines.

As I was being inspired by my biblical music, I thought about how one ripple

rolls through the glassy surface of a tranquil pond and affects the beginning

to lasting change. I see lovely colors of the forest trees and smell the fresh fragrance of nature's cologne. I then wonder if we'll find ever find peace within and concede to our indifference.
