Was at the Chevy Part's dept. the other day (don't ask), and saw some really neat tie downs they were selling. They fit just about everything, & I bought some for my Ram. (see photo) I'm not sure who else sells them,& they were $10 bucks a hole. They install in seconds, and will take 1,000 lbs of pull. The top is made of the same tough, black, textured, plastic our ram door handles are made of, and the piece that fits down in the hole is made of a thick piece of extruded aluminum. The hardened shackle is "U" shaped, and you pull it up when you need to use it. It has a roll pin pressed through both legs of the "U", and when you lift it out the roll pin bottoms out underneath the aluminum piece. To install, work the alluminum piece down through the pocket, pull it up & hold it, then put the two screws through the plastic top into the aluminum part & your done, about 10 seconds per hole. They are made by bull Accessories, Brea, Ca. 92821... ... DDG

Thanks Dennis, these are the cleanest looking tiedowns I have seen to date. Mine are getting rusty, will have to look for these. Happy Rammin, Dave Hauser
