Competition Considering going to pulling

I need some ideas on building a STOCK height rolling chassis with upgrades to various parts. Starting with a bare frame and working up. Should I powder coat the frame or have it line-x'd? stainless brake lines. What suspension upgrades should I consider? Aftermarket control arms? polyurethane bushings I assume? Heim joints? Any suggestions appreciated. This will be a project truck.

Powdercoating is good, makes a smooth look...

Recommend the CORE off-road system with the remote Oil shocks on all 4. . the core system has a pack for the rear that has the same carr. capacity but flexes much better. they have different springs for the front and an aluminum tower...

For the links, almost any high-end links with Poly bushings and a good trackbar with HIEM joints... . Make sure the steering geometry is good with a drop pitman.

Get higher end U-joints made for high stress both on the axles and driveline... . Plan on having quick disconnects on the swaybars for better flexibility... also a borgeson <---(Sp?) steer shaft which is stronger...

Didn't see if this was a 2nd gen truck... if so, you need to do something different with the crankcase vent... If it is stock, when you go down steep hills, the oil will pump right out of the vent... . I did mine out the rear, top of the valve cover using a chevy PVC vent/ oil fill unit..... problem solved. .
