Anyone Else Catch The Fact That The Orange Millers Garage Nova, Was At The Track When The Bd Team Went To Get There Antifreeze From The Trailer. I Thought The Other Dude Won That In The Previous Episode.

I Want To See What That Truck Is Capable Of When Its Actually Running Right. If The Last Pass Was An 11. 2 Than What Would It Have Done If It Were Running Correctly?

They raced their '03 4WD Cummins against a gas powered 377cid S-10 that was back halfed and had a glass front-end. In the final race they ran 11. 02 and won the other guys truck!

Question?? How does anyone know that they ran a 11. 02 ?? they start by the drop of the hand and don't run the clocks?? Not trying to start trouble just wantiung to know where this came from??

To answer the above question. . Pinks will get a track for the day , and make like 2-3 episodes a day.

I bet they popped a turbo (snapped a shaft). Why else would they get all that BLACK smoke when trying to limp it back to the pits. The rattling was probably the drive wheel flopping around in the exhaust housing. Just a guess.

That would be nice to know! (official time) They did show very well and they had a few guys there helping that do know there stuff. But that was a very big truck to run an 11. 02. I do think the other guy was right about the knife.

Anyone catch that chinsy exhaust system floppin around on that Dodge?

Looked like ATS aurora 2000 and 5000 twins.....

Did it have a water/meth kit on it? and propane?
I know it had the giggle gas... .

Looked like things got hot on that first pass without the juice? I think it was wounded that first pass... ...

It said it had twins on it?? And I agree with the Exhaust it looked a little weak? I don't think it had Water/Meth due to the fact they kept calling 3 power adders on the Bully Dog Truck .

1. Turbo

2. NOS

3. Propane

THe guy commenting on the power adders was talking about two turbos and nitrous.

When in all reality that is only two power adders on our trucks.

And

Like wideopen said Pinks films multiple episodes in one day.

The "Trucks" Pinks was filmed earlier in the day than the "Millers Nova vs Trevans Camaro" race.

They just aired them in reverse order.

After that first pass when the coolant came pouring out, they said that they blew a coolant hose. I don't know how that could have happened unless a clamp broke or something. After a couple more passes they ended up running the last pass with no water... . hell, what have they got to loose, only the truck. :-laf

That guy in the Chevy sure did have one hell of a ****** off look on his face the whole time like he was getting cheated out of something. I still can't believe that he worked 5 lengths out of the first negotiation, what a whiner, he deserved to loose. :D

The Twins were our BD Power Twins. :D Big decal on the back of the truck. The truck made 832hp on the dyno. Even though on the build list they said they were the ATS, nope they were ours.

Oh I was goin on what they listed... Not like they panned down for any length for a more detailed looksy... ...

Any reported weight for that rig?

I watched a replay of it last night on Spike, 10:30 pm AK time. I heard the guy say ATS twins and FASS were installed. No doubt it had a BD RAD as well or the 03 would not have been able to run those times even with drugs. After the 2nd to last run, I heard him say “I had the meth on and everything”, so water/meth and nitrous. The Chevy guy was counting the turbos as a third power adder. That does make sense. The popping and blown radiator hose is classic head gasket symptoms on a 3rd Gen, which studded head or not, it is going to pop using nitrous, water/meth, and twins with no external gate. Way too high cylinder pressures going on there. That last run was done with no coolant in the engine at all and was knocking terribly when they came back. I bet they fried something internally from the heat. Good show, but yeah…. way too much talking and whining.

originally they thought it was a blown radiator hose, but it turned out to be a blown radiator--that's why they tried to pinch it shut, but due to time restraints they ended up shoving a tee shirt in the hole to try and stop it, but when the tee shirt didn't work they said "run 'er dry"..... they bent the license plate and wire tired it on to keep the airfilter dry also..... chris

So that's what they were using the license plate for... . I couldn't figure that one out at all.

That is a great show, but as AK RAM mentioned, the whining needs to come to a limit. After a while it gets pretty annoying.

I would still like to know what was clunking and why was all that black smoke comming out with almost no throttle, when they were trying to park it. Was it the engine getting ready to lock up, due to no cooling? Was it a broken turbo? I also want to know if the head was o-ringed.
