Bully Dog Decieved Me!!!!!

So last week i ordered a bully dog PMT for my 08 3500 received it today installed and updated it and i get a unknown vehicle warning ??? so update it again but no option for a 08 6. 7 ?

so i call tech and they tell me that there is no program for the 6. 7

no program for the chip they advertised as being for the 08 6. 7

no program for the chip they sold me as being for the 08 6. 7 #@$%!



so now i have a $1100 rpm gauge

I went to the BullyDog site and looked twice... It clearly says the pmt is now available for all 08 trucks. Bully dog reads these forums and believe me ..... it is their best interest to make sure they give you a full refund (shipping incl. ). I believe in their products and I have always heard great things about their customer service. I think they made an error and probably will make it right. Let us know.

Their site is a bit confusing, in one area they state "The Performance Management Tool or PMT has quickly become the most popular tuner on the market for diesel trucks and it now works on 2008 models. " and when you click on 'information' it only lists 5. 9's. Bully Dog Site | Bully Dog Product

I can guarantee you that what they did is illegal if you bought it directly from BullyDog(DECEPTION).



So they sold you a product that doesn't even exist yet very nice. Your handling it way better then I would be, so what happens now, can you trust these guys for updates, product support and technical support. Not me get rid of it and purchase a SMARTY for your truck you will not regret it.



They must take it back installed or not remember the product does not exist(programming) you were lied too. You could of purchased a SMARTY and a couple of gauges for 1100 bucks or less. And don't hold your breath for the updated program, if they say 2 weeks give yourself a month or more.



Sorry for your trouble don't let this push you away from other vendors on this board.

No one is selling any 6. 7L smartys, I make sure of it. no cash should be exchanged period

i'm happy to tell that with the help of keven from K2 diesel performance and bully dog engineers buddy and hadley i was able to get a program to test and instal in my truck there is still a few bugs but overall a great product that i would recommend!

And some great customer service over two hours on the phone with me.
