Bully Dog Decieved Me!!!!!

So last week i ordered a bully dog PMT for my 08 3500 received it today installed and updated it and i get a unknown vehicle warning ??? so update it again but no option for a 08 6. 7 ?

so i call tech and they tell me that there is no program for the 6. 7

no program for the chip they advertised as being for the 08 6. 7

no program for the chip they sold me as being for the 08 6. 7 #@$%!



so now i have a $1100 rpm gauge

Hopefully you purchased by credit card! If so just dispute the charges with the credit card company and they almost always take the consumer's side, especially when you are right. Then the shysters at BullyDog will get a chargeback and have to deal with the credit card company!!

what the problem most likely is, is that your truck has too new of a flash in it for the bully dog to read. when was the last time you were at the dealer?

just bought the truck and it has been updated there is no program for the 6. 7 as bully dog says just one for the 5. 9

there are many people running them on the 6. 7s, it's just the new dodge programs that are screwing them up.

Well I think Bully Dog needs to fix this, if there was no exception for this update in their ad it is their responsibility to make it right. That is a lot of money to pay for a tachometer.

What "seemore" said. Did Bully Dog tell you "too bad for you" or what. This doesn't sound like something a big outfit would do. Although this sucks I think they owe you 100% refund including shipping. Do you still have the advertisement?

the unit does work on the 6. 7 but if the truck is so new where bully dog doesn't have a tune for it it's not gonna work, but i'm sure they are working on something. that link that was posted is not bully dog themselves that is someone that uses their name. it's hard to say or know what flash is in the truck before hand b/c i've had customers that have had the truck for months and bought a Superchips and it didn't work for the same reason.

i'm happy to tell that with the help of keven from K2 diesel performance and bully dog engineers buddy and hadley i was able to get a program to test and instal in my truck there is still a few bugs but overall a great product that i would recommend!

And some great customer service over two hours on the phone with me.
