Heres a question that hundreds have viewed, but none answered or commented on yet... .
On the BullyDog Outlook, how does it calculate (estimate) HP and Torque? Actually, I assume I know how, either Acceleration Rate over Time, or Speed over Distance, but to calculate this, you need to know the mass or weight, so where is the weight part of the formula? Can it be changed?
And why does mine always say, 238HP and 468Tq? No matter how lightly or heavily I get on it? I know this has to be wrong, on performance setting of the Power Pup Downloader, I average about 16. 1 seconds at 84 MPH, and stock it is about 17. 9 at only 74mph. My truck, fuel, gear and me weighed in at 8200 on the scale so the calculated number has got to be low no matter what. Still not bad for a dually 4X4 hauler.
And, what are the two 03-04 Dodge settings, O and DP ?
