Bully Dog power pup won't return to stock?

Tried to download my Bully Dog Power pup from extreme setting back to stock today, and everything was going fine until the end where it started the initialization 8,7,6,5,4,3,2, and then 1 and then it just stopped at that point? It usually only takes another second and it's done. waited 5 minutes still stuck on #1. Unplugged and got the "erased" message you need to recover mode, disconnect batteries for two minutes, reconnect, turn key back to on and then press "Y". OK, the thing starts to download again, 0-100%, starts the initialization sequence again and gets stuck on #1 again? #@$%!



Tried this two more times and nothing!!! Has anybody had this problem before? Can't call BD, their closed. Do you think I need to take to dealer for a re-flash? :{ :{ If I need to take to a dealer for a re-flash, is the Power-pup screwed-up? Does the power-pup need to be re-flashed also?

You might check for a updated version on their website and download it. There may be a glitch in yours that the update might fix.

Thanks, Nathan I thought of that however, I can't get the programer to return to stock. I believe you need the programer to be at the stock setting before you can download from their site. ? I having the truck towed today to a dealer friend and maybe this weekend he can try to re-flash the truck? If we get the truck working again, I'm going to try to go to the BD event next weekend have BD look at the box.

Well thanks to Marianne Hawk of HTS who I bought the downloader from, contacted her friend "nathan" who used to work for Bully Dog, he called me on Saturday and gave me a couple of methods to correct the problem. The bottom line it worked!!! That is customer service to the "max".



Can't say enough for the folks at HTS, who besides being a Bully Dog dealer, Dusty her husban, builds some mean transmissions to hold all the power. In case you don't know it, Dusty built the transmission for the Bully Dog race truck that was featured on the show "pinks". Check out their site:
