Bully Dog Propane kit!

Looking to see if anyone is running the propane kit. What do you like and dislike? I might go with this option and scratch the Tst box.

Oddly enough, I was just logging in here to ask about the Bully Dog propane kit. I noticed that it was added to the Summit catalog recently also. Here are my questions:



What are the expected power gains?

Are they compatible with DD3, EZ, stock turbo, twins, etc?

How will propane affect EGTs?

What kind of thank should you use and how do you go about filling it?

How does the new Cummins react to propane?

Is it dangerous?



That just about ought to cover my questions! TIA!

from what i have read here, the 'pane isn't very popular with the cummins engine for some reason? lots of dmax & POsD's use it...

The 2nd generation HO head gaskets didn't care for propane due to the HO's higher compression ratio and, thus, peak firing pressures. Dunno about the 3G engines.

Propane is the same as fuel. More fuel=more EGT's. These things run hot enough already without adding more heat.
