I loaded the new tri dog program last night with the torque management delete. I now have a different truck, WOW. . Even on stock mode it has alot more get up and go. I don't want my wife to even drive it like this, she'll hit someone for sure. How much abuse can the stock auto take, I will not tow with this setup but its just sooo much fun around town empty. . Winter driving could be a pain. Has anyone else loaded the new program.

be careful

I Cracked my vavle body that way thank god i know some in charge a my local dodge dealer and they covered it. but i was also running the edge on 5. with my 62 turbo

BDDL with TQ management delete WILL kill a built trans. Essentially you have NO wiggle room. ;)

Its all in the right foot. How much restraint can muster???? :-laf :-laf

I have been looking for confirmation that the TM delete is available for the earlier 3rd Gens, 03/04, and that it is available in all programs not just Extreme or CL, but so far I haven't ran into anyone that knows for sure. A lot of speculation though. Anyone know the real scoop? BullyDog doesn’t seem very good at getting info out. I can't get anything out of them.

I know a guy that put the new download on his truck. He has an 04. 5. You can have the tq man. delete but without the Crazy Larry tune. It is available in stock, tow/haul, performance, and extreme. Maybe the 03-04. 5 are different than the 04. 5.

I just ordered it, and it will be here tomorrow just in time to go to the track tomorrow night. It's for my 05 big black pig. I don't have a built trans either. I have a shift kit, suncoast converter, and a flexplate. My biggest concern is the input shaft. . I don't know for sure how quick heavy trucks (she's 8,040 pounds) can go without breaking. So far it's best is a 13. 82 with the mods in my signature, and a 130 hp power pup.

Should I even try the delete, or should I just run the extreme program?

If it holds together, anyone want to guess how quick it will be? From 13. 82 with the 130 power pup, to XX. XX with the extreme? Haha. . I'll write back and let yall know the results. .

I watched "Diesel Nut" fry a suncaost auto while staging at the Nor Cal Diesel Ralley with his 06 and the Bully Dog TM delete.

Just for comparison, I ran with the tq man. off, CL, Tst 5x2 and got time in my sig. The week before it ran alot better but I couldnt get a time because I didnt have the stacks yet. I need a modded cp3 BAD. Hopefully I can get that and injectors in the next few weeks.

latenight- Just out of curiosity, how did it crack your VB?

I have been running the TQ management tune for a while now flogging the daylights out of it with no ill effects to the ATS trans.

I havent been to the track with beta CL sans TQ Man. but with the old CL it was 8. 37 @ 82. 65 1/8 mile. Since then I have also added a full manual VB from ATS. This thing alone should drop times as I control when it shifts and locks up.

Yeah, supposedly it was a week since he had it built. Ouch!

Hope it has a warranty...

When I talked to him he said that he assembled it so there probably wasnt going to be a warranty? That was at the track and I havent heard anymore on it though.

Yep, it's the 2. 3. 0 version. it has a torque managemant option but it says you have to call bullydog for a password?

just FYI

Here is a Quote from the DTR

I was told buy a BD tech today that the code for unlocking the torque management is derived from different numbers in the serial number. it goes as follows 13th, 11th, 9th, and 7th. my serial number is:103UZ063R16SI, and my code was I6R6. Hope this helps and saves all who want to try a phone call. It is impressive, but potentially a transmission destroyer!!!
