I have been looking for confirmation that the TM delete is available for the earlier 3rd Gens, 03/04, and that it is available in all programs not just Extreme or CL, but so far I haven't ran into anyone that knows for sure. A lot of speculation though. Anyone know the real scoop? BullyDog doesn’t seem very good at getting info out. I can't get anything out of them.
04. 5 and up only

It work"s on 2003,WOW it certainly is uncontrollable Power, the surging and flaring was so bad I remove it, Also it is too unpredictable for street use. I will put the truck On the rollers when I get some free time..... It will eat up any stock or under built trans,or any trans for that Matter.

So what exactly is this upgrade doing to get the power to eat up a trans so bad ??? How is it different than stacking boxes, twins, nitros, etc etc etc ?

I agree! It's makes the pedal SO sensitive that it's hard to accelerate smoothly. It just wants to peel all the time!

Well, I just got back from the Bradenton, FL dragstrip with the big black pig. . Brown delivered the new program just as I was leaving the house. . As a recap, I'm used to a standard 130 power pup. . I downloaded the crazy program with the TQ MGT delete. . As I pulled out of the driveway, I couldn't believe how strong it felt just barely giving it throttle. . It also smoked a lot just putting around. I stopped at the gas station next to the house for a drink. . When I jumped in the truck and was sitting in the parking lot ready to pull out, a very nice looking 6. 0 stroke got on the throttle as he passed me. . I got that warm, fuzzy, butterfly feeling and I was off. . We caught the first stoplight. . He had a large exhaust, and gauges that were visible(also big fancy wheels :) ). . I'm sure he figured I was crazy in the dually with the camper top. . That was until the light turned green. . I had it torqued up slightly (I was scared for my transmission) and when the light turned green we were off. . Just after coming off the line, I matted it. . It went from no tire spin to a steady spin as I pulled away. . Not just krept by. . Pulled away quickly. . When I let off, the cab filled with the great smell of burnt clutches. . I then went slow for a little while. . At the next light we catch, I was sitting two cars behind him. . He got out of his truck, and yelled what the Hexx you got in that thing. . It was pretty great. . We get to the track, and they had a dragster take a dump down the strip. We sat in line waiting for track cleanup forever. . I got to make two passes. . The first pass I was scared to fry the trans again, so I ran with the TQ MGT back on. . It did a 1. 96 60' (as usual), and it pulled a 13. 54 @ 101. . The trans seemed to shift OK. . Next pass I turned off TQ MGT. . I was scared to torque it up much. . Well, I didn't hardly torque it up at all by accident. . Left the line and matted it. . Lots of smoke, and th RPM's jumped quick, though not much go. A 2. 5 second 60' was the result. . Needless to say, it didn't take off like on the street at all. . In 2wd on the street, it was awesome. 4x4 launch made my transmission hate life. . I learned I can't run with the delete until I go with the full transmission. Very impressive product if you have the trans to hold it... I don't. . Sorry about the long write up. . I just wanted to share the experience. .

Low end power. . Well, the programmer gives you a choice of increased throttle sensitivity, or to delete the torque management. Deleting the TM will give your truck low end power you never knew was there. . The throttle sensitivity is just that. . Makes it feel much more peppy. . Combine the two, and it's impressive to say the least. .

I just did the low end power increase on mine and my transmission does not like it. too much power down too low, and it's not street friendly (hard to maintain speed). it's way different than the 2. 2. 7 version.

cant imagine what the delete is like. should be able to do some wicked smoke shows with it (tires).

What version??

I have the Bully Dog Triple Dog. I downloaded the latest upgrade for the standard version 2. 3. 0. This has the Torque Management option. To enable the use of the option you have to enter a password. It is a combination of BDDL 13, 11, 9, 7 characters of the serial numbers.

The 2. 3. 0 Crazy Larry upgrade should be released soon that will have the Torque Management option. Bully Dog tech told me Crazy Larry 2. 3. 0 will probably be available to download some time late next week.

I am going to hotroddiesels.com tomorrow morning to have the transmission serviced and eye-balled. I will load the 2. 3. 0 version and see what it does. Maybe try it out some there. Michael said he has a couple of stock flexplates he can weld together in case I nuke one. I will let you know.

So you had your BDDL flashed with the new software (looking at your signature) or did you have to buy a new Triple Dog to get it?
