AK RAM,

I have the triple dog,,,, it's nice to update it online off of B-DOGs website instead of having to go to the local dealer or send it to B-DOG direct.

i also have the power pup but havent used it since i got the triple dog.

I do have to say, I expected a little more of a time drop going from the 130 to the crazy program. . The best time before was a 13. 82 at 98 mph. . It only dropped . 28 seconds and gained 3 mph. . The transmission seemed to hold ok with the TM on. No clutch smell anyway. Does this drop sound normal? I was hoping for a atleast a . 5 second drop. .

you should see about a . 5+ second drop, do you have a built transmission?

I loaded the Bully Dog Triple Dog Version 2. 3. 0 today after we finished the transmission service. Unfortunately it decided to rain heavy today, not a drop for three weeks before today. There was no way to see what it could really do.

I removed the EZ, so I had only the TST. Downloaded the Bully Dog with Low End Added and Torque Management option on. On Performance program, TST 3/1 the truck was very unfriendly. No way it would be daily driver option for me. There seemed to be more low end power, but I had a lot of popping and sputtering with half throttle and up. Just too wet to do any type of 4wd boost launch. Smoked quite a bit more than previous Performance program and did not seem to clean up as well as before. I unloaded it before I headed home, did not trust it in the rain.

BTW when I had it loaded, I had no transmission gear selection lights at all on the dash. Did not notice anything else flaky. When I unloaded it the trans gear selection lights were back to normal. I will ask Bully Dog about this next week.

I just have a shift kit, flexplate, and a torque converter... I'll try again next Thursday for a little quicker times. .

The gear selection lights go out when you run TM delete. . I was told that's normal for the program. .

What the? Normal eh? That aint right. You'd think they could make it just like normal, just delete the TM. Granted, I'm not a code writer, and I'm grateful for the ones that are, but it just seems kinda hilljack for the gear selector not to work. Makes the DC "de-de-de" recall small potatoes.

That said, I still want it. Is it available for pup users? I just got the pup. I'll trade up to the dog if I have to.

I just upgraded to the new 2. 3. 0 and did the low end power deal but not the password protested TQ management option.

It was rainy outside but I took it for a "spin" and that was about all I could do. SPIN. Even with light throttle it felt like I was hammering it wide open. At 40-45mph the LS rear axle had me all over the road like a dirt track car.

I honestly want a little more low throttle power as I feel like my Triple dog is not equal there with my previous Edge w/ juice. But with it enabled it was just too much. They really need a low, med and high option with the high being about 70-80% of what it is now.

So I went back off and of course now it feels dead again. Maybe if we all email Bully dog they will give us low throttle options instead of either on or off. I am sending my request to them now

I actually got a quick reply from Bully dog and they said several people had said the same thing and they were considering it.

So maybe they will do a milder version of the low throttle boost

Well, I broke down and tried one. The two main reasons I picked-up the new Triple Dog doesn't work on the SO auto trucks. The TM delete just does not work at all and the low end power is no good because TM is still there and keeps screwing it up at each shift. Sounds like it works much better on the newer 3rd Gens though as they don't have as aggressive TM programming. Overall I'm a little disappointed. I did a review here: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6068
