i am new to the diesel world and thinking of going with the bully dog triple dog downloader w outlook monitor. looking for some feedback or other suggestions . i just put in a afe stage 2 intake and also plan on putting on an exhaust.

?????????

'm sure you will get a lot of responses pro's and con's..... However, I have had better luck with EDGE w/attitude. With the EDGE you don't need gauges, safe to run on stock truck, adjustable fuel on the fly, alarms, safe defueling settings, many options on monitoring, egt's, boost, tire calibration, air intake, etc. , etc, and can be upgrade to "hot " setting. Bullydog has some simular stuff, except it is a downloader and has had some problems screwing with your ECM... . EDGE is not a downloader, and IMHO is safer to run...

i am assuming that warrenty is not a issue for you. i love my bullydog and i have gone threw multiple turbos, intercoolers, trans, ect. but my bullydog still reamains on the truck. i love the features like seat belt chime off, fog lights, door locks, ect. the crazy larry is free and if you want to make power it is still the best in my opinion. i have not tried edge but i didn't like banks, ts, superchips, i guess smarty is a good chip but i just can't get rid of my bullydog. i am also stacking a predator stage 3 with my crazy lary but i wouldn't recomend that with out some other upgrades. I did not like the outlookmonitor though i think it is the worst product bullydog put out but i have heard good things about the new pmt that can replace the outlook with more options and better readings. If it were me though i would still go analog on the guages.

Is it possible to stack the Juice with the Triple Dog?

I think they both do timing and duration. Mixing boxes that do the same thing cause problems. The Smarty gives you the option of added timing or not. Might be a better fit for a stack.

Had the bully dog on my truck, worked fine for a month then the truck wouldn't start. Took it back to the dealer and they said the computer programming had been completely erased. They reflashed it and I never put the programmer back on, no problems since. Just something to think about. I think the Edge would be a better choice, thats what I'm going with.

Edge is nice, but I like my TST R-49, it's like a edge with a MP8 stacked... I have both IISPRO gauges and the TST disply and their both close to each other... Just thought I'd through the TST in the mix... . Later on when your ready and want to stack a SMARTY or BDDL with it, HOLD ON...
