yepp,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and on the 3gen it is a pita to plug in some of the boxes too. the ones where ya gotta crawl under the rig to get to the 2 hard to reach plugs. one of em especially a hard to handle plug. small sized strong hands a must for that one and layin on the cold wet ground,,,,,,no fun. i had to have someone plug in and unplug a former box for me. no cld do even on the best of days.
runnin empty just run it on extreme and run on performance w/ a trlr and the temps be cool enuff. heck,,,,,,,,,only 8 minutes download time and a few seconds to plug in and unplug. simple to do. heck,,ya can change programs while ya be cinchin down the trailer. or just run performance mode most the time. plenty snappy on that one

this unit runs amazingly cool egt due to the combo of timing/duration/pressure all in moderation. someone posted asking about how much fuelpressure. i was told 30hp worth of pressure in performance and 50 hp worth in extreme and none in tow. not too much railpressure even in the highest program. a good combo to help keep the egt cool. if i didnt run 2 pyros both preturbo i prolly wldve thought my guage was off but both read close to same.
the ultimate of course is to do the outlook monitor in combo with the powerpup. set it to defuel at a certain egt and dont worry bout it. heck,,,with that ya may be able to trust your wife or kid to drive the rig w/ a load behind it. and the ability to set it at a lower fueling level as a valet switch would be awesome. Oo.
