I notice catoiler has a SO. I'm not sure if the EGT's are the same or not but I'm curious what they were as well. I can't imagine being able to step on it for very long without a pretty serious turbo.

Well,I just ran the Insane program and it did pretty good,Then I played with the TST with it and OH MAN!!Time for some more fuel and a trans!On 5X2 it kicks butt. The higher up you go the more this thing rocks!It finally smokes like my 02 did. Tommy,I think you will like it!!

I fear for my turbo's life with even the TST box (old program)...



I will have to get with mark (@tst) and see what he thinks of the bullydog being stacked, I can't imagine the stock charger holding up...

By the way, does the bullydog DL'er come with a boost elbow? Or do you run factory boost levels?

The more I play with this thing the more it brings a big smile to my face!No it does not come with an elbow. I'm going to change progams and see what EGT are that way.

FWIW - Rumor has it that TST box advances the timing 3-degrees for every 5 lbs of boost up to 12-degrees at 20lbs



It is also based upon engine rpm, etc but that is the basic principle



ALSO - is there any people with bullydog DL'ers around indianapolis,IN ???

Have TST on my 04. 5, adding Predator stage 2 (85hp) in a day or so. Got that off ebay for $227, seen one go tonight for $188. Just won my ebay Bullydog Downloader for $415. 00. Will be adding that next week when I get it in the mail. Triple chipped... . just like the D-Max boys, next step... , maybe two fueling boxes stacked, and a set of injectors? My ride is stock for now, with the exception of an Airaid intake. Next week going out the side with the exauhst, just behind the rr passenger door. Gotta catch up to Chevy.

1) tts extreme - 215hp

2) edge box - 150hp

3) ??????? Simple pressure box?

Yea, but to try it on a stock turbo means he'll need a new turbo before the tires even get hot

I think Im going to have my wife put a parental lockout on the tdr. First the six gun. Then the tst now the bully dog :{

This is the same way I felt when the newest VA box came out. Id like to see some egts during a pull.

I wonder if BD will ever put out a 200+ hp program? They can certainly do it best with the equipment they've designed. You wouldn't need to stack anything!

Enjoying Mine

Thanks to Muddy, mine came in on Friday. What great timing as I was hauling gravel that day with a 3 yard dump trailer. Truck and trailer empty were #10320. Loaded weights were 16. 6K to 17. 8K. The first trip without the Pup the truck was quite sluggish up the 9% grade. After I picked it up, I ran it in performance mode with the trailer empty and it felt good and strong much like my 01 with just DDIII injectors. I don't have gauges yet so I just went with the tow mode with a load. Really worked well as it ran like normal stock unloaded. Made 7 trips and refueled yesterday, 13. 1mpg. After dropping the trailer off yesterday I changed to insane mode. Power is awesome. Have to be real careful letting off the go peddle as it will bark the turbo. Nail it hard and it will smoke a lot before the turbo gets spooled up Only downside so far is that when I loaded the performance and insane levels the brake and ABS lights came on and it set P0602 codes. These did clear up though. Now I'm thinking I will get the Outlook so I can do gauges and management with one upgrade. Overall though, for the $ I am very

P0602 ,Programing error change, their the fingerprint , that code can be erased but not remove without a DRB III tool. I have seen this code before when changing signals,I have erased it with my 9620 ,It have always reapeared with the DRB III.

If you get this code, the ABS and brake light will come on, drive the vehicle above 20 MPH for 2 minutes and the lights will go off, a scan tool will not erase them. UNTIL THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN.

i 4got to mention that the brake and abs lites will come on when ya 1st download and stay on for a total of 4 starts then they will dissappear. will also dissapear after a period of time even with 1 strt. these lights only come on with the 03 my trucks. also wld happen if a program is downloaded into the ecm at the dealer.



i pulled one of the trlrs and did a mpg test while i was at it. pushin 18,000 lbs gcw and no hotroddin too much which is hard to not do,,,,,,,,,,,,, i did 14. 4 mpg. the last time i went the same place i did a 13. 1 with my pressure box in the off position. [hand calced] this time i was running the pup in performance mode and of course cool egt under accel up hill. rolling hills w/ a max of 65mph driven. so a small increase anyway
