Bullydog is Back!!!!! WoooHooo!!!!

Bullydog sent back my box this week. I got it today. For those of you who are on the fence... ... . Wait no longer... . !!! On the first setting it is stock power. On level 1, it runs as good or better as the Edge EZ I have been running for the last year. On level 2... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . Hang on!!!!!!!!! Full compitition power. I pulled a full throttle run on level 2 and was letting off at 100 mph real fast. As I pulled out of the burger joint, I got a third gear chirp on the duals This is a good box. It has performed as expected. I will run it hard all week and then report again.



Disclaimer. I have been running a prototype for Bullydog for free. I did recieve a box to test for free. If this box didn't work as expected, I would tell it so... .

Wow! Sounds really impressive Greg. Keep us informed. Once all these computer boxes are perfected, I need to get one for mine. This new truck just doesn't have the power my 95 had and I was spoiled.

There is an adjustable switch inside the cab. Three position. Off, medium, and high. The highest level feels like my 01 fully bombed truck on level 5x5. I am interested on how much power it really makes. I'll have to dyno soon to see. I think with some injectors and a turbo I should be able to hit 500 hp no problem. I three months they have made the 03's as fast or faster than a fully bombed 98. 5-02... ... ... ... ... ... ... Wow!!!!!! I'm stoaked.

As good as this is I feel like it is the final product. I would say within a couple of weeks they will be up for sale. I am sure if it became better it could be updated. It says in the instructions to remove before going to the dealer because if the reflash your truck it will wipe the box. You will then have to send it in to be reprogrammed for $50.

Just ribbin ya' Greg, so how much better is this box over the EZ, just put mine in along with the aFe and modified the exhaust some , so far pretty impressed over what i had in stock form!!Oo.

I like them both. The nice thing about the bullydog is when you are tapped out on the EZ just flip a switch and it pulls real hard. Like having two EZ's. The numbers I was told were, switch down(stock power) middle(90 HP) up(150 HP). From 90 to 150 HP is a good SOP feel. I haven't towed with the Bullydog yet but I will in the AM.

Let us know what happens to EGT's and boost when you go from 90 to 150 under a load, sounds like I might have to take a trip down your way or down to Fred's when you go over again!!

EGT's go up to 1350 pretty quick and level off there. Boost is limited by boost elbow. 37 is max I have seen on the 2nd setting.

EGT's are lower on first level than stock level. Timing is about 30 percent of the power and I feel like it doesn't take as much fuel to make as much power. Boost is lower too. 35 stock 32 level 1(90 HP)

on my 99 the ez added punch at the low end (very usable power) i really liked it. does this bullydog box on 90hp do the same thing? how much is this box going to cost if its around 600 i might be in.



how about smoke 90/120?



sounds like this box does not have very much adjustability like the edge comp. (1x5,2x5,3x5,4x5,5x5,etc. ) are there any plans to make a box with such adjustability?

I was looking at getting this box, but I'm concerned about my autotranny. I have a 2500 4x4 auto. Stright piped with airfilter mods and no turbo ring. Any input would be helpful.

I really would love to get this box, price is holding me back right now, I could swing around $600. I tried an EZ box at the drag strip and went from a 18. 06 at 74 mph stock to 15. 9 at 84 mph on level 4. Do they have a 30 day money back thing going on if your not happy? I'm ready to go to the strip again and would love to try one.
