I am going in tomorrow to get the TSB software fix to help my 11-12mpg delimma. Thinking about going to the local diesel guru to get the Power Pup too. Any feedback from anyone out there who has done the same?

Thanks!

your TSB will be wiped out when you download the powerpup. If you go back to the dealer to attemp to re-enable the TSB the techs DRB will show that it is already enabled. It will also show codes indicating a re-flash and in my case a comunication error. This could also jepordise your warranty if you are concerned about that. The powerpup has a copy of a stock program built in. It does not copy your stock program. On the other hand you may get some MPG improvments on one of the lower settings. I don't think much of bullydog as a company but if you want to try the powerpup why not try it before you get the TSB and see how your MPG goes.

Thanks, I was wondering if the PP might be redundant. When I talked to the diesel shop they mentioned the choices of solutions as the TSB, the PP or similar products. After I got off the phone I was wondering if I should do one or the other, or both. I assumed the PP would "overlap" the TSB fix. The problem is the PP would be a $402 experiment but I get 50-60 more poinies Oo. If I get the TSB and it doesn't do anything for my mileage then get the PP, I am f*cked as I just cast a spotlight on my messing around and any future warranty issues may become an "issue"..... hummmm..... decisions, decisions.....

I hope to hear from a PP user.

I got to thinking about this and I don't want to give you bad info. My experience was with a different TSB I'm not sure how the TSB for poor mileage works. It may be a whole new program but you would go back to a regular program when you went back to stock with the power pup. As far as warranty goes I don't want to comment on the ethics of seeking coverage after mods as I see both sides of this issue. I think the ECM keeps track of how many times you have re-flashed with the downloader and it might look kinda funny if they look and see that your truck has been flashed say twenty or thirty times in a year. My guess is that the tech's will be geting wise to these things if they havn't already.

My customers have reported gains in mpg with the 90 hp setting not much though at the most 3. 2mpg but they also enjoyed the power hope that helped

That's scary... :--) TST for me (maybe Edge) ;)

Going back to the drawing board. When the Edge Attitude comes out which should be any day now, I'll get one of them. What the hell. :-laf
