I have stacked the tripledog & the ez, It runs really good but I dont know what the rail psi is at this time, I will check today. I also will begin Beta testing a New Module from bullydog that "should" compete with the ez, I think it is rated at 120hp & I know it does timing. Thats all I know for now, I will keep you posted.
To measure rail pressure a quick simple way is to use a DVOM and tap into the center wire on the fuel pressure transducer mounted on the rail. Record what you see and use this chart for conversion:
If one was to buy the dual SPA gauge (fuel pressure/volt for example), would fuel pressure still be able to read with the appropriate wire tap?
(I was reading up on your research last night and missed out on the group buy. DLeno wrote that he used a DiPricol (??) to measure fuel pressure, but I can't find anything on the Danin web-site. )
The gauge we got SPA to configure is an oil pressure/Rail pressure gauge and I am sure they still sell them.
I suppose you could use a Volt gauge but don't know how well that would work.
The Rail pressure gauge is actually a "Boost" gauge with a different label that says "Fuel"
and the good thing is that you can program it for a slower sampling rate so spikes in the fuel system are not displayed on the gauge so quickly, it smooths out the display.
