bump

when I stop my 2000 quad cab I feel a bump it goes away after my tank is half empty,I think it's fuel slosh?anybody have this problem

Kind of like a dull thump, yep sure sounds like fuel slosh to me. Mine does that too. I don't know how well the factory tanks are baffeled.

rrab1, welcome to the TDR! Might want to check the straps around the tank and make sure their tight. Might want to build yourself a signature - click on the "user cp" button then on "profile".

You are correct the bump you feel is from the fuel tank and if you go on fritz's Dodge site you will find a tsb for your problem you must have a 2000 s/b quad cab I think that is the only effected model the dealer will replace your tank for you if you are under 36k miles just print the tsb off the site and take it with you.
