Just got rear ended by a '87 Honda Civic at 35mph, his brakes went out. {Man! I was so p#*@#%!! *****. Only bent my bumper up about . 75" and the plate where the towing ball attaches down about 3". No one hurt just my pride, my truck was cherry :{

Anyway, the point is this Ram CTD can take a lick, and keep on going. When I pulled away from his car it was attached, so I just towed him about 50' to the curb. First estimate, $655. 00, gonna search for more... :-laf I'd rather pocket the change, take the family to Seaworld or Disneyland. Does anyone have ideas on how I can repair this myself Oo. ? Thanks for considering my request, Patrick.

If your rear bumper is anything like mine take it off and throw it away and get youself a decent one, preferably 8" drill stem and wrapped around the corners. A good size trailer will rip the ball mounting plate right off the bumper and any decent hit will bend the ends right into the box corners. They was designed for pretty not function.
