i have a pace american 24 conquest car hauler. it ways 4250 and have about 3000 lb of stuff to total about 7200-7500lbs. i have never used any any anti sway or torsion bars, just a receiver and ball rated at 10,000 lbs. it pulls and tows great have never had a single problem. i always keep speeds below 60 mph. am i asking for trouble? must guys i see aways have have some kind of weight dist. hitches.

I have used a equalization (weight distribution) hitch since I first pulled a travel trailor without one. Never again. I use a n equalization hitch on my cattle/flat bed and boat trailors. Makes you almost forget the trailor is back there.

I use an equalizer and friction sway control to tow a 27 foot TT. In relatively calm air, no problems up to 80 MPH. When I switched to Michelin truck tires on the TT, I had even less problem.
