burned up tripple lock on 48 re

Burned up the clutchs in my tripple lock converter this weekend.

Pulled the trany this morning an took it a part.

Clutchs in trans were like new but pan was full of clutch material.

When I pulled the pump I saw one of the cap plugs was blown out of the pump where the factory cross drills the pump feed holes.

I put air to the feed hole and sure as I thought It was the lock up feed hole.

has anyone else seen this?

Another ATS bites the dust? Ouch, I hate to hear that. With the money we spend on these things it is always sad indeed! Let us know if they stand behind it...

How you burn it up? I just fryed my DTT converter, mine went kinda slow. I felt lock up was getting softer and softer, I thought it was all in my head at first. But then I took it racing and hit the spray. My quarter mile mph and my times got lower and lower, as the converter came in softer and softer. Until it was only dropping 300 rpm when I hit lock up, now it slips at half power down the road at 70 mph.
