I have a 2010 short box, crew cab. Sometimes when I pull into the garage, I can smell burning rubber around the two rear wheels, and only from these areas. Since I haven't been ripping sh*ttys in the parking lot, I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Thanks. This regen is still a mystery to me. Shouldn't I see a message on the EVIC?

I have noticed that the past two times it has happened has been after putzing around town for a while--maybe I need to get out on the highway on beat on it a little?

Check your spare tire, when I had to drop it one time you could see where the tread had gotten extremely hot from exhaust heat. May need to reposition it in the carrier.

I think i read somewhere that you will not see a message when the trucks go into regen, and that you will only get a message when the dpf gets 80% full

Never seen anything related to Regen on my dash, but I can tell because the avg fuel economy drops from 14 ish to 10 ish and I get the smell when I stop. Glad to hear it's normal.
