Piers, don't keep us wondering!

We did use a little water to get them going. He tried to do it dry and actually got the DRE(Donnelly Re-Engineered) Sachs clutch to slip on that rough concrete. When he shifted into 4th he was on dry pavement.
 
The truth is out. This video was made by the makers of the famous Duramax pulloff. I bet if we slow the video down and magnify it, we'll be able to make out a floor jack under the rear axle. Prolly just lifting it so the rear tires barely touch.

Very nice burnout man... not to argue or say "mine is better than yours"... but i can get my rear's going as fast on dry pavement no water assistment and make a hellova smoke show too. . i'm working on pics don't worry. . i just can't shift as many gears as you. Plus, mine is only a little ole' first gen... {just tryin' to keep the swelling down} !! hehe

My brother used to smoke it up with a '62 Corvair Spyder (came stock w/turbo) with mods, he named it "Naders Nightmare". Mom wondered where the bleach was going! He had to cool it cause the mounting holes in the aluminum wheels were becoming elongated! #ad

Fantastic burnout!!! I've spent the past few days trying to save the clip to my truck files. Is there a way? I've saved clips before... I'm using Windows Media Player. I even went and updated it. Can it be saved? What's the secret?

Steve, 'right click' the phrase "Texas tire bar-b-q" in the thread and then click 'copy shortcut' in the drop-down grey box... that'll do ya!
 
Thanks BC, I tried it and it saved the URL. I gave up and removed Windows Media Player version 7 and tried version 6. 4. It allows you to "save as" to your folder. Much better. I won't upgrade anymore... I need to keep it simple. That's now my "favorite movie clip".

I bought new ones shortly after making the video, now I can't do that anymore #ad

But I am looking for a set of wheels to mount some LSTDR meeting tires on. (wink wink) #ad
