AH64ID,
Do you know what type or brand of bed liner is on the Ram? Linex? I like Rhino but it does get dull after a while. I have Linex on some of my trucks in my fleet. It does seem slick compared to Rhino but shure is durable.

I had a sun outline of the 5th wheel hitch on the spray in liner. On the fleet pickups that actually used the bed to haul stuff we used 3/4" marine plywood for the floor with 2x4's around the edges. I had a "blue" color bed liner in my 2003. It would scratch white however. The biggest problem is the liner getting chunks ripped off say from forklift pallet loading. Always a damn loose nail on the bottom.

I don't know if its name brand or FCA brand, but I'd guess its FCA.

I've had both Rhino and Linex and prefer the Linex. Dad had a Turbo Liner (Dave Smith) on his 06, I liked that the least of those 3.

I don't for sure know what was on my 05, but I think it was Linex. No tag thou.
The brand is Mopar!

Almost done with my "want" list. I was looking at the 2500 compared to the 3500 , both 4x4, and I did't notice an option for the "anti spin dif" or rear fender liners.

Regarding the comment about ber liner...""I don't know if its name brand or FCA brand, but I'd guess its FCA."" Don't know what I was thinking!! I did mean "Mopar" of coarseo_O

I really haven't Anul-ized :p my wifes 2019 sprayed in factort sprayed bedliner, but it looks good. But I have to tell ya, way back in the 70s thru 2002, I just had the plain ole bed... did have scratches and dents INSIDE the beds, but itwuz a truck... that wuz expected.

I agree, I've joined the don't scratch the bed club, honorary member;):p:D:cool:

BOTTOM LINE: Buy the factory bed liner, get the 50 Gallon tank, I could live without the air suspension, but I grew up with trucks and like the truck ride. Puffs!:D

Cheers, Ron

Looks more like LineX but grips better like Rhino.
Wow, a linex /Rhino cross formulation! I actually added it in my build package.

I remember those days! I grew up in highway construction. I am 3rd generation Commercial Concrete/Engineering Contractor. Trucks were meant for WORK!
Now as we get older we baby our trucks. I think pride & $$$$$price comes to mind.
I know when my crews show up to a job site & the company trucks are clean & organized, the competence level goes up.

I did plug in the 5 gallon tank, air suspension, & electric steps.
Man ...it is so easy to keep punching the ADD button on the want lists!!
Are you sure you don't work for RAM?? The add in options are going to make me come out of retirement and go back to work!!!

One thing I didn't think about until just now was....is there any reason to go with 20" rims & tires? What would be the advantage?
I will have to compare 18" vs 20" tires.

Looks is the main reason people goes 20’s, but they do handle slightly better.

If your mainly loaded and don’t do much back roads or winter driving then 20’s would be my personal choice. Thou 20’s do have a higher cost for replacement tires.

6 months of the year I want 20’s and the other 6 months I want 18’s, so I stick with 18’s as I’m past the days of multiple sets of wheels/tires for the truck. The only reason I’d get a 2 set would be for a dedicated winter set, but I don’t need that now.

I wanted the 18" Laramie wheels for the looks and 18" for the lower cost of replacements. In my book the 18" Laramie wheel is the best looking one in the stable.
