Buying trailer factory direct?

Are there any trailer manufacturers that will sell direct? I want to order the trailer, drive to the factory and pick it up- I have NO USE whatsoever for "dealers". Anybody bought a trailer like this?

To bad we couldnt do that with trucks too. I know what you mean about dealers though. They usualy know less than nothing about their product but can get you "PREAPROVED" in minutes.

Factory Direct RV Purchase

New Horizons Fifth Wheels are made in Junction City, KS. They have no dealers. You have to buy through the factory. They make a top quality, heavy, and pricey trailer. Each trailer is made to order. Very impressive factory tour.



Another option is Americana Fifth Wheels. They are sold factory direct. They are actually made in a factory owned by a major RV manufacturer in Indiana, but they are made under contract to the Americana Specs. I forget the name of the manufacturer, but it is the same company that makes Cedar Creek I believe. Americana makes a good quality trailer - not quite to the standards of New Horizons, but not as expensive either.
