Buying truck out of state

I'm looking at buying a truck from out-of-state (Texas, I live in Michigan). Any advice? Am I going to have any problems with banks, etc? I have a friend in Houston that can do the looking for me, but I don't know what to expect on the financial side of things. Has anyone here bought a truck from an out-of-state dealership (and had to finance it)?

Make sure the warranty will be the same as the state youre in.

Here in NJ we have a lemon law.

My B. I. L. bought a truck in NY, and it turned out to be a lemon. He couldnt do anything about it, since he bought in NY.

I'm sure the bank can handle the wire transfer for you.
