Yes... ... ... ... . What a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did the whole 9 yards (virtual tour... etc. )

We got about 6 people to look at the house over like 4-5 months whom which all made ridiculous offers (Central, FL). We then considered going with a conventional realtor but didn't want to pay the commision. The house was from my mother's estate and was for sale for a reasonable price. People would offer us 15-20K below asking price after wasting our time We got more serious inquiries from putting a For Sale Sign on the front yard with our asking price on the sign. House sold within a month.

They promise a lot of stuff but it's a lot of hot air. The hits just weren't there for us. I just wish I didn't spend that $1500.

Mike

PS The house is still online. We haven't advisedthem we sold it back in November. Still no more inquiries.

I just listed mine on FSBO.com

It's $49, you can upload 5 pictures, a pretty lengthy description, include a link to another page if you have one and they send you a big yellow sign to put in front of your house. It's been up for a week now but I haven't had any hits/calls yet. I'm going to go a month and then probably do something else - maybe have to list with an agent but I don't want to pay the commission, either.

I have a little time, since we're not moving until June or July.

My site turns out to be BYOWNER.com. I did not know there was two different sites like that.
