I installed My XM Radio with the PIE adapter Sounds great except when the truck is running, I hear a buzz. It changes speed and pitch with the engine. Anything I can do about it?
I am not familiar with the PIE adapter but it sounds like you may be picking up some inductive noise from another device(Injectors, etc) that is pulsing based on engine RPM. Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc. sell devices that you can put inline with the 12 volt power to try to clean up the power.

I have a PIE Adapter I use with my DVD player. No buzzing at any volume. Check to make sure your Connector is tight at the back of the radio, and if you are drawing power and ground off your cigarette lighter I would suggest using a body ground instead.
On the older gas trucks there were problems with the ignition bleeding into the sound. Usually a bad ground, but not always. Either way, you can also get inline noise filters for the power. I had to do it on a '79 pickup.
I also vote for a better ground. In addition, you might try tapping the switched power line for the radio for your power. I tapped both the switched power and the ground from the factory radio for my Terk XM Commander. No noise. Very happy. Also, make sure your ground wire doesn't run next to any 12v wires. Sometimes they pick up noise from them.
