Anyone have experience with any of these? NUC Motorsports, Amsoil BMK21, Oil Charge Systems. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Been using Gulf Coast 2 for 10 years. At 25,000 miles soot is always negligible. Just got my '12 2 days ago and will mount it after 10k miles.

L Stanphill..... on your 2012 if it is like my 2011, the ECU determines oil changes and the dealer looks at that (warranty item). I get oil change "bargain" coupons regularly and just have the dealer do it. I have done it myself and it is a mess and yes more comes out than goes in, thanks EPA. When the warranty expires, then I will reconsider.

I have been doing my own oil changes now since 19,000 miles when I found out the dealer was not greasing the front drive shaft and the tie rod ends on my 08. The dealer personnel tried at first to tell me there were no grease fittings on these components, I than ask why there was a decal and instruction in the O&M guide for this. I found out from the service writer that they used a lube rack and this rack did not have the ability to grease components, it was for quick oil changes only. I then inquire if they used the proper oil and filters since it was mainly for cars and 1500 gas trucks. He did show me that they had to use quart oil bottle and could not use the central lube dispenser.
This was the Chrysler car dealer since Chrysler closed down the Dodge (car&Truck) dealer right next store. The price of an oil change also double from what the Dodge dealer was charging so I do it now and correctly.

The NUC is a good system, it uses the Amsoil filter and has a custom mount. The BMK-21 has to be made to fit. I run the BMK-21 mounted on the side of my frame rail, and had a skid plate built for it. The only downfall to the NUC is it doesn't use the largest bypass Amsoil has, and keep the filter underhood. I like the filter remote mounted for cooler oil.

I don't recommend the FS2500 only because it costs more and has a lower filtration rating than the Amsoil filters.

I would love to find a way to put a centrifuge on, but I don't think there is room.

I used the Amsoil set up on my 3rd gen, but took it off. It didn't do anything for soot loading in the oil.

Where you doing UOA or just looking at the oil?

Modern oil does make it much harder to remove soot, but bypasses still remove a lot.

Amsoil is less than 3mic ????

99. ? % is pretty damn good to me!! at 3 mic

AMSOIL Dual Remote Bypass Oil Filtration System

Engineered for outstanding oil filtration efficiency, AMSOIL EaBP Bypass Filters have an absolute efficiency (Beta 75) at TWO microns and 60% efficiency at submicron levels. As a result, it is also an SMD (soot removal device). The AMSOIL Dual Remote Oil Filtration System remotely mounts both the full-flow filter and the bypass together on a machined aluminum high-tech mount. Working in conjunction with the AMSOIL EaO Absolute Efficiency Full Flow Oil Filter, which is rated at 15 microns absolute efficiency, the AMSOIL EaBP Bypass Filter operates by filtering oil on a "partial-flow" basis and provides the best possible filtration protection against wear, oil degradation, rust and corrosion. It draws approximately ten percent of the oil at any one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants that full-flow filters can’t remove. The AMSOIL ByPass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil. It is like changing your oil approximately every 10 to15 minutes! This system will also increase oil sump capacity by one to three quarts.

And you left out the one I have on my Interhational I think it works better than the FS

Yep, FS-2500 used to report 2. 78um at 98. 7% (absolute), now they report 3um absolute. I am not sure if the filter changed, or they just rounded up.

The Amsoil is 2um at 98. 7%, so yes it filters finer than the FS2500 for less money.

The ECO-PUR is 3um at 94%, so it's the least efficient of the 3.

OPS 1 is on my International I dont know anything about it other than IT WAS FREE and the Filter is next to nothing to buy and the oil after 10K is HONEY COLOR. I know that the Dodge cummins will never get that but the international hasnt got all the extra fuel injections and smog crap on it either. Looks like they are all about BALL PARK add the Donaldson filter in the OEM position and how can you go wrong.

I ran an FS-2500 on my 08, moved it to my 98 when I traded trucks. The fancy oil return filler cap doesn't fit the older truck, which is a bummer.

I took off the rocker cover tapped a hole in the back above #6 and put the return there out of the way and no leaks.
