Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) CA EGR Bomb

I have just received my #6 TST plate, I intend to install it on Saturday, but there is one problem. . I have an EGR engine and was wondering how I am gonna plug the hole on the exhaust manifold after I replace the intake? (I bought the fancy chrome intake from CUmmins) Any tips?

I live in Stockton, how much do you want for a plate? I'm not keen to change the exhuast manifold...

Use the gasket as a template and make yourself a plate from 1/2" iron plate. Or spend $400 and get the ATS manifold. I had a 1/4" zinc plate from my old EGR manifold, I'll see if I can find it. It worked well for many miles before I changed mine to the ATS.

Install your egt probe in plate that will cover where the egr was breathing from

When I tried to disconnect my egr , the check engine light came on after about 20 miles. Did this occur to anyone else. If so, how do I correct for the Check Engine light.
